visitors a chance to enjoy great art - ceramics, sculpture, photography, painting, and mixed media work -

in a spectacular setting along the dramatic rift valley.

Please be advised that our gallery hours will be intermittent

during summer 2018 while we work off-site on a new project.

It is recommended that you call ahead before

making a special trip. Thank you.

Please feel free to call ahead if you are making a special trip:

Conveniently located within an hour's drive of Taos or Santa Fe, we offer free parking, a knowledgeable and friendly staff, a carefully curated selection of contemporary art, and an interesting setting.

From Santa Fe, follow the Rio Grande route toward Taos (Highway 68)

and we are approximately 1.5 miles north of the Dixon turn-off (Highway 75).

From Taos, travel south on Highway 68, and we are just past the 23 mile marker on the left side of the road.

Adjacent to the gallery is Southwest Stoneworks, specializing in the sale of carving tools and a wide variety of stone.

Each summer, Southwest Stoneworks hosts annual workshops in stonecarving.

Visit the SAX STONECARVING WORKSHOPS page to learn more about our upcoming summer workshops in Stone Sculpture.
